These Gorgeous City Hall Weddings Are #Goals

We have to give it up to couples who are bold enough to ditch the whole (occasionally pretty gruesome) wedding-planning process, and hop on the subway to say "I do." Forget cake tastings, dress fitting after dress fitting, and hours spent mulling over invitation fonts, seating charts, and floral centerpieces. At City Hall, it's all about the love you share, not the sea of fancy accoutrements that can somehow turn one of the most intimate life events into a monster affair you never bargained for.

We sent a photographer down to NYC's City Hall to snap pics of couples right after they tied the knot. Click through to see all 41 pairs of gorgeous newlyweds — and be sure to keep a few tissues nearby.
